About Us
Higher Level Basketball is a 501c3 non profit organization founded in 2008 as way to help and promote community athletes. Founder Darius Wilson started with a single team of young athletes from his training program. Out of that Higher Level Basketball grassroots program was started, our organization educates and trains youth to develop skills that are imperative to be successful students, athletes and future leaders.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Higher Level Basketball is to promote student athletes and develop leadership, sportsmanship on and off the court. Our goal is to provide each athlete with mentorship, encouraging educational excellence, and provide opportunities for our athletes to compete at the highest level of competition in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.
Our teams range in age of 10 years to 17 years and participate in all levels of organized basketball and showcase tournaments. Coaches are dedicated to making a positive impact and developing each athlete in preparing them for the next level of competition. If you are looking to be ready for the next level, high school, college, then Higher Level is the Program for you.

Athlete spotlight
Ike Onwuka
Patriot High School
Named player of the year and first team all cedar run district. Ike is a two sport student athlete and is excelling in both.
Jordan Gibson
Stonewall Jackson High School
Jordan is a 4-year varsity player named Cedar Rus 1st team, led his team in scoring all season. Jordan will play next level for Presbyterian University (D1).
Marcus Stephens
Hylton High School
Named Cardinal District POY, 1st Team All District, 1st Team All Region, and All Region Tournament Team. Marcus is committed to St Thomas Aquinas College (D2) NY.
